a) I put extra effort into the wrapping of the two prizes to be given away and use them as decorations. The grand prize (tower of bright pink boxes festooned with ribbons and the book) will not be given away until the end and can be a colorful focal point for the party.
b) I love fresh flowers but I am not skilled at arranging them. I find it easier and more cost effective to stick with one type of flower which I gather in small to medium sized vases.
c) Most house plant and their pot can be placed into a bright pink plastic bowl to coordinate with the party color scheme.
d) Any clear container (vase, glass, candy dishes, goblets, etc.) can be filled with bright pink or white objects to add to the decorations. A quick and easy table centerpiece is to fill a tall clear vase with two bright pink feather boas and let the ends of one of the boas spill down the sides of the vase. I finish decorating the table by scattering a package of sparkling pink confetti over the tabletop.
e) Balloons can be an affordable option for party decorations. I often order a dozen balloons in bright pink and silver or bright pink and white colors. I will then place a balloon bouquet at my front door and tie the remaining balloons individually around the party area.
